Dear AAQR Authors and Readers,
We are pleased to share the good news that Aerosol and Air Quality Research (AAQR) has been issued a journal impact factor (JIF) of 4.530 (Q2 in Environmental Sciences) in the newly released Journal Citation Reports 2021.
AAQR is committed to being a world leader in providing freely-available, high-quality scholarly publications in aerosol science, technology and air quality. As such, AAQR has been following international practices and guidelines in journal publication. In addition, the new AAQR website has substantially elevated its international visibility and accessibility. In the past year, about 85% of citations to AAQR articles were from other journals.
AAQR is an independently-run, non-profit journal that has been sharing articles freely since the very first issue in 2001. AAQR also provides publication fee discounts and waivers to support authors from developing and underdeveloped countries. AAQR offers a variety of manuscript types (e.g., original article, review, data reports, technical notes, focus article, etc.) in which authors can select the most suitable way to publish their work. We truly take pride in serving as an important platform that disseminates scholarly work, findings and knowledge openly and freely to all in a timely manner.
Thank you very much for your support over the years. We look forward to your continued collaboration and contribution to AAQR, as well as the aerosol and air quality scientific community.
Sincerely,
Li-Hao Young, Ph.D., Managing Editor
